JOB PURPOSE:
To supervise the coordination and administration of various human resources services and functions within a facility.
JOB RELATED STATISTICS:
Number of direct reports: Typically 1-3
Classification of Direct Reports: May include Salaried and Hourly Employees
Number of employees at facility: 300
Number and location of facilities: Primarily One facility; local
JOB DUTIES:
This position is generally the top human resource position in a small facility. It reports to the facility manager or a higher- level human resource position in a larger unit.
Under the direction of the Facility Manager or Human Resources Manager work with employees at the facility On all payrolls and all shifts including union-represented employees if applicable.
Provide direction to Facility Management in interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices and procedures, as well as international laws if applicable, governmental regulations, and internal investigations in order to enhance consistency and maintain/improve the work environment of the facility.
Supervise job functions including some or all of the following:

?New employee orientation
?Counseling of employees
?Compensation
?Benefits
?Payroll
?Employee issues and problems
