The individual serves as the key local subject matter expert in the field of tribology and interfaces and supports product engineering (including R&D) and quality for process troubleshooting, failure analysis, as well as tribology testing capabilities development and MBDE efforts.
Responsibilities

? Developing the tribology testing capabilities
? Lead and conduct tribology test using compressors or tribology testers and provide technical reports
? Carry out research Ｏn component surface analysis
? Leverage internal and external testing and analysis resources
? Interact closely with multi-disciplinary teams including reliability, applied mechanics, materials, chemistry, quality, manufacturing, and product development engineers to support failure resolution, new technology applications, and product development efforts.
? Participate and give technical guidance for product development and material and process development
? Cooperate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop the credible models for components wearing



Requirements

? Bachelor’s degree or above in Tribology or Mechanical engineering
? 3 years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing setting utilizing their tribology expertise.
? Must have a strong tribology testing background.
? Ability to interact with multi-disciplinary teams, including international teams.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also needed. Must understand, speak, and write English and Mandarin languages fluently.
? Must have tribology testing skills and a familiarity with mechanics and data analytics.
