Main Responsibilities 主要工作职责
1. Monitor and report customer quality status (related to SCHOTT glass and packaging); establish and maintain the Quality cockpit;
2. Drive the continuous improvement program and coordinate measures with SCHOTT team (e.g. to risk reduction (FMEA), developing and harmonization of inspection and testing, increasing performance / yield, quality train-ing)
3. Lead the complaint management of customer claims, root cause analysis, communication to custom-er/processor and within SCHOTT team (in close coordination with sales and customer service team);
Plan and assign activities and follow up Ｏn status, arrange samples for failure analysis and statistical evaluation, execute lab measurements and testing, document results, prepare and align 8D reports
4. Develop and maintain the competence regarding quality inspection of thin glass in the lab, and implement standard quality process in department for all thin glass samplings inc. sample sales. Organize trainings, back-ups etc. to make sure the process is strictly followed;
5. Provide Ｏn-site quality audit for the subcontractors of thin glass and drive the processors to improve the quality process; Act as the quality window to the subcontractors in China and handle related quality issues based Ｏn the alignment with the SCHOTT production sites;
6. Follow strictly company policy including EHS, equipment maintenance, lab 5s and compliance and take per-sonal responsibility and measures.


Experience and Competencies 所需的经验和能力
1. Master or Bachelor (with 3 year working experience) in engineering background.
2. Demonstrated working experience as the quality engineering or management role in materials industry.
3. Technical Knowledge & Skill in the field of 6 sigma or statistical analysis.
4. Problem solving capability in a dynamic environment
5. Effective interpersonal communication and presentation skills
6. Self-motivated with good organization skills.
7. Fluent in English and Chinese, with both written and oral communication skills.
