Requirements:
？ BA or MA in Economics, Engineering, International Business, Business Administration or equiva-lent.
？ English proficiency for negotiation.
？ Strong analytical skill and deductive thinking (cause/effect).
？ Presentation skill (brief, concise, audience targeted), PowerPoint proficiency.
？ 5-10 years in the purchasing area, experience in Rail or another high-mix-low-volume industry is preferred.
？ Practical work experience with SAP, high skill in Excel (use of pivot tables etc.).
？ Technical knowledge Ｏn handling IT goods and services.
？ Experienced in supplier identification, qualification, contracting.
？ Experienced to communicate and work in matrix context of an international Group.
？ Skilled to sell ideas with fact-based arguments.
？ Ability to calculate various business cases and TCO.
？ Flexible personality and can work under pressure, strong self-motivation, and assertiveness.
？ Willing to travel and work overtime.
？ Used to work independently but aligned with teams and supervisor.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
？ Identify new approaches for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
？ Sell new approaches to the local organization and conduct pilot implementations.
？ Conduct market research.
？ Be responsible for supplier evaluation / selection / contracting
？ Deploy project management for strategic purchasing projects.
？ Conduct price negotiations, regional biddings and e-auctions.
？ Perform substantial yearly savings.
？ Improve actively performance of local suppliers.
？ Prepare commodity reports Ｏn assigned commodities.
？ Deploy and execute functional strategies.
