The VCATS [Vehicle Configuration And Test System] team are part of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering department and support the electrical testing of the car and the validation of feature performance. The VCATS process downloads software to electronic modules Ｏn the vehicle and configures them to the correct vehicle specification, making the car saleable and ensuring it complies with market legislation. The VCATS Engineer takes responsibility for the provision from the start of a vehicle programme, through early build stages and Ｏn to volume production.电检团队是前期策划的一部分，负责对整车电气测试和将来整车性能提供支持。电检完成模块软件的加载、刷写，并确保符合车辆的要求。确保其满足市场规范及销售要求。电检工程师负责从项目开始到制造早期直到量产。
Main Responsibilities (Outline the key outcomes or responsibilities for the position)
1. Planning for the introduction of new models and providing hands-on, track side support during early builds and launch phases.新车型电检规划，提供从试生产到批量后整个阶段的现场支持。
2. Planning for the introduction of new models and support Ｏn track build activities.新车型电检规划，并对进入正式生产后的各项活动进行支持。
3. Manage VCATS deliverables so that they are compliant with programme milestones. 管理电检系统的交付进度，使其满足项目里程碑要求。
4. Represent VCATS to present programme status at launch management meetings.代表电检团队在投产会议上展示项目进展。
5. Understand the EOL diagnostic test seuqence to support the EE issue resolved. 理解EOL诊断测试程序来支持电子电器问题的解决。
6. Be able to support the EE Labcar testing from diagnostic perspective before launch. 能够在投产前期从诊断方面支持电子电器台架测试
7. Working closely with manufacturing to ensure processes are optimised in terms of overall cycle time and smooth operator work patterns.与制造过程紧密相连，确保整个测试过程节拍的优化和操作的顺畅。
8. Managing the introduction of new part numbers (hardware and software) resulting from engineering change and model year actions.根据工程变更及新车型投入，对新零件号（硬件和软件）进行管理
9. Act as a technical point of contact for the VCATS team and EE diagnostic function.作为技术连接点将电检团队与电子电器诊断功能相结合。
10. Understand the VCATS server issue and locate the root cause quickly. 理解电检服务器相关问题，并且能够快速定义根本原因。
