Label Manager

This Labeling Manager leads a global labeling team to ensure that package and/or product labeling align with business needs, customer requirements, and governmental regulations. Interprets, analyzes, compares and makes decisions regarding existing labels, in collaboration with appropriate stakeholders, to support the design of labels. Contributes to the development of solutions and best practices for labeling initiatives, including recommending activities, process improvement and country-specific requirements.

About the Job
? Lead discussions with both internal and external customer to determine label requirements and interpret specs for development and implementation of needed label formats
? Coordinate and work closely with other Littelfuse departments to obtain data elements needed for the labels, such as IT and EDI for programming needs of the customer label
? Responsible for the development, testing, and implementation of manufacturing and distribution label formats
? Manage, train, and develop the global team that is responsible for the oversight of the label program and work closely with team members to ensure the processes are efficient and meeting customer expectations
? Lead the project to implement a new label design software, including the transition of old label formats to formats compatible with the new system
? Project manage the label integration with any new acquisition or implementation of new ERP/MES systems


About You


? Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
? 7 years of related experience
? Highly proficient oral and written English language communication skills required. Must possess the ability to interact with all levels of management in multiple countries.
? English. Additional languages an advantage.
? Ability to sufficiently grasp and internalize complex abstract ideas, and effectively communicate those ideas to laymen and peer’s.
? Ability to both lead and participate as a cross-functional team member.
? Ability to make effective decisions, both with and without constraints to available information.
? Experienced leader, able to motivate and develop associates.
? Experience with various labeling software and applications.
? Experience implementing label and ERP systems.
? Knowledge of distribution and manufacturing best practices.
? SAP experience.
? Proficiency with MS Windows/MS Office Access, Excel, Word, and Project.
? Highly motivated self-starter.
